How many photos fit
Every figure comes from the layout engine rather than a rule of thumb. The suggested count is where each photo prints about two inches across, big enough to make out a face from across the room. Questions
Will his tricolor coat show?
Not in the outline itself. A silhouette is one shape with no color, so the famous black, rust and white can't appear in the edge. It comes through in the photos inside, every white blaze and rust eyebrow, and that's what makes it unmistakably a Berner.
Will it look like a Golden Retriever?
Honestly, in outline alone, a Berner and a Golden look a lot alike: big, soft, feathered dogs with long tails. The difference is in the coat, and coats don't show in a silhouette. Once your photos fill it, nobody will mistake him for anything but your Berner.
