Football Senior Night photo collage: four years under the Friday night lights

Friday nights. Muddy jerseys. The roar when he ran it in, and the long quiet drive home after the ones that got away. On Senior Night he walks out one last time with you at his side. A football Senior Night photo collage puts his jersey number on a poster filled with every season since flag football: the oversized helmet, the team photos, the touchdowns, the sideline hugs. It's the thing you'll both remember about that night.

Two ways to do it

His jersey number
The classic Senior Night poster: his number, one or two digits, made of his photos.
A running back in full stride
A football player carrying the ball, filled with every season.

What to put in it

  • Flag football and the first oversized helmet
  • Every season's team photo, youth league to varsity
  • Under the Friday night lights: the runs, the catches, the tackles
  • Muddy uniforms after the rain games
  • The sideline: Mom with a sign, Dad on the fence, little brother in a matching jersey
  • Homecoming, the team bus, pizza with the guys
  • His senior photo, helmet under his arm

Words for the poster

  • Senior Night · Jake
  • #23 · Class of 2027
  • Friday night lights, forever
  • Thanks for every ride to practice
  • Leave it all on the field
  • Once a Bulldog, always a Bulldog (use your team's name)

Size and timing

Print a two-digit number landscape at 36 × 24″, a single digit portrait at 24 × 36″, and ask the print shop to mount it on foam board for the easel. Around 80 to 140 photos is right: each prints about an inch and three-quarters to an inch and a quarter across. Football Senior Night is usually the last regular-season home game, often late October or early November, so start gathering photos now.

Questions

Can we make one for every senior on the team?

Yes. Booster clubs and team parents often do. Each senior gets their own template with their own number, so each family can fill it with their own photos. It's $9.99 per player.

Where do I find photos from the games?

Check the team's social media pages, the school yearbook photographer and other parents' phones: there's always one parent who photographs every game. Ask early, before Senior Night week.

What do I get?

A Canva template with his jersey number already cut and every photo space placed, for $9.99. It downloads instantly; you open it in a free Canva account, drop in your photos, type his name and print it anywhere. Double-check the number before you order: it's built into the layout.
