British Shorthair cat photo collage, made from your own photos
Round copper eyes. Cheeks you could squish all day, if he'd only let you. The way he settles into a loaf and politely declines to be picked up. A British Shorthair cat photo collage is cut to a chunky Brit standing side-on, with a round head, full cheeks, small ears, short sturdy legs and a thick tail, and filled with every plush, unbothered moment of his life.

How many photos fit
Every figure comes from the layout engine rather than a rule of thumb. The suggested count is where each photo prints about two inches across, big enough to make out a face from across the room. The minimum is 9 photos; below that, parts of the outline can be left without a photo. Standing side-on, the British Shorthair is wider than he is tall, yet his photos print just as large on a square sheet, such as 20 × 20″ or 24 × 24″.
| Print size | Photos | Suggested |

| 16 × 24″ | 9–170 | 15 |
| 20 × 20″ | 9–180 | 25 |
| 20 × 30″ | 9–275 | 25 |
| 24 × 24″ | 9–250 | 40 |
| 24 × 36″ | 9–375 | 40 |

Questions
Mine isn't blue. Does that matter?
Not at all. The classic blue-grey is the famous one, but the outline has no color of its own. Lilac, golden, cream, black, silver, bicolor or colorpoint, your photos carry the coat, so it looks like your cat.
Will it look like a teddy bear?
That's the idea. The round head, full cheeks, small ears and short legs give it the cuddly, chunky look Brits are loved for. The dense, plush coat makes a smooth, soft edge, with no wisps or tufts, so the shape stays clear from across the room.
Can I use it as a memorial?
Yes. British Shorthairs are often with a family for many years, quietly part of every chapter. Fill it with the moments you hold closest and add a name and dates underneath. Our pet memorial collages have more gentle ideas.
What occasions is it good for?
- A birthday or gotcha day for the teddy bear of the house
- Christmas for the cat lover who fell for that blue-grey coat
- A memorial for a calm, steady friend
- A kitten's first year, from fuzzball to solid lump of cat
- A gift for the kids who grew up with him, because Brits are famously patient
Which photos should I put in it?
- Loaf mode, paws tucked, eyes half closed
- Those cheeks, head-on and up close
- Sitting bolt upright on the windowsill like a little owl
- Refusing a cuddle, then sleeping on your feet
- Kitten photos, while his eyes were still changing color
What can I write under the outline?
- Winston · 2008–2026
- Our teddy bear, always
- The calmest heart we ever knew
- Professional napper
- Round, plush and perfect
