Basketball Senior Night photo collage: from the driveway hoop to the last home game
It started with a hoop over the garage and a ball that was almost bigger than him. Then the youth leagues, the summer camps, the gym that went silent before his free throws, and the night they cut down the nets. On Senior Night he walks to center court with you beside him, one last time at home. A basketball Senior Night photo collage puts his jersey number on a poster filled with every season.

Two ways to do it
- His jersey number
- The classic Senior Night poster: his number, one or two digits, made of his photos.
- A player going up for the dunk
- A basketball player at the top of his jump, filled with every season.
What to put in it
- The driveway hoop and the first tiny jersey
- Every team photo, youth league to varsity
- Layups, jump shots, blocks and the big dunk
- The bench going wild, the huddles, the coach's speech
- Summer camps and the outdoor courts
- Family in the stands, grandparents included
- His senior photo on an empty court
Words for the poster
- Senior Night · Marcus
- #5 · Class of 2027
- From the driveway to the last home game
- Thank you for every ride to practice
- Ball is life, but you are ours
- Nothing but net, nothing but proud
Size and timing
A single-digit number like 5 is tall, so print it portrait at 24 × 36″. For two digits, print landscape at 36 × 24″. Ask the print shop to mount it on foam board for the easel. Around 80 to 140 photos is right: each prints about an inch and three-quarters to an inch and a quarter across. Basketball Senior Nights usually fall in January and February, so you have time to gather the photos over the holidays, when the whole family is together.
Questions
Does it work for girls' basketball too?
Absolutely. The jersey number works for any player. Just swap in her name, her number and her photos.
Can it be a Christmas gift before Senior Night?
It can, and it's a lovely one: give the finished poster at Christmas and bring it to Senior Night in February. Or give the promise of it, with a preview of the design in a card.
