Siberian Husky photo collage, made from your own photos
The first howl at the doorbell. Fur on everything you own. Pale eyes watching you from the snowbank like it was his idea all along. A Siberian Husky photo collage is cut to a husky standing proud, ears pricked, thick ruff at the neck and the tail curled up over the back, and filled with every snowy run and every dramatic conversation.

How many photos fit
Every figure comes from the layout engine rather than a rule of thumb. The suggested count is where each photo prints about two inches across, big enough to make out a face from across the room. The minimum is 9 photos; below that, parts of the outline can be left without a photo. The husky is just a little wider than tall, so a square print suits it, such as 20 × 20″ or 24 × 24″.
| Print size | Photos | Suggested |
|---|---|---|
| 12 × 12″ | 9–60 | 10 |
| 12 × 18″ | 9–100 | 10 |
| 16 × 20″ | 9–140 | 20 |
| 16 × 24″ | 9–170 | 20 |
| 20 × 20″ | 9–180 | 35 |
| 20 × 30″ | 9–275 | 35 |
| 24 × 24″ | 9–250 | 50 |
| 24 × 36″ | 9–375 | 50 |
| 30 × 40″ | 9–525 | 80 |
| 36 × 54″ | 9–875 | 110 |
| 40 × 60″ | 9–1075 | 140 |
Questions
Mine is red with blue eyes. Will it still look like her?
Yes. The outline has no color of its own; the photos carry it. Grey, black, red or agouti, blue eyes or brown or one of each, your pictures fill the shape, so it's her coat and her eyes that show.
Will people know it's a husky?
They will. The curled tail over the back is the giveaway, along with the upright ears and the big ruff. From across the room it reads as a husky before anyone sees a single photo.
Can I use it as a memorial?
Yes. A husky leaves a very quiet house behind. Fill it with the years you had, add their name and dates, and let the photos do the talking for once. Our pet memorial collages have more gentle ideas.
What occasions is it good for?
- A birthday or gotcha day, every year of the zoomies
- Christmas for the husky lover who already owns the mug
- A memorial for the one who talked back
- A new puppy's first year, from fluff ball to full coat
- A sled-dog club, a mushing season or a first canicross race
Which photos should I put in it?
- Nose-deep in the first snow of the year
- Mid-howl, eyes closed, giving it everything
- Shedding season and the pile of fur that could be another dog
- In harness, pulling a sled, a bike or you
- Asleep in a perfect curl with the tail over the nose
What can I write under the outline?
- Koda · 2013–2026
- Born to run, home to stay
- Every howl, every snow day
- Still running somewhere snowy
- The loudest good boy we ever knew
