Australian Shepherd photo collage, hanging above a sideboard

Australian Shepherd photo collage, made from your own photos

$9.99

One blue eye, one brown. The kids rounded up across the backyard whether they like it or not. The whole-body wiggle at the door, every single time you come home. An Australian Shepherd photo collage is cut to an Aussie standing square, with folded ears, a fluffy mane, feathered legs and a short bobbed tail, and filled with the busy, loyal years you've had together.

How many photos fit

Every figure comes from the layout engine rather than a rule of thumb. The suggested count is where each photo prints about two inches across, big enough to make out a face from across the room. The minimum is 9 photos; below that, parts of the outline can be left without a photo. An Aussie standing square is only a little wider than tall, so a square print like 20 × 20″ or 24 × 24″ fits him well.

Questions

Blue merle, red merle or tri?

All of them. The outline has no color or pattern, just the shape of the dog. Your photos bring the merle swirls, the copper trim on the face and legs, or the black and white of a tri. Mixing close-ups and full-body shots spreads that coat right across the print.

Mine has a full tail. Does that matter?

Honestly, a little. Many Aussies have full, plumed tails, and the outline shows the short bobbed one. Everything else, the mane, the feathered legs and the square stance, still says Aussie, and with his face in the photos and his name underneath, no one will mistake him.

Can I use it as a memorial?

Yes. An Aussie is part of every day, so the gap they leave is big. Gather the working days and the lazy ones, add his name and years under the outline, and keep him where you'll see him. Our pet memorial collages page has more gentle ideas.

What occasions is it good for?

  • A birthday or gotcha day for your hardest-working best friend
  • Christmas for the Aussie lover who can't go a day without dog hair
  • A memorial for the partner who was with you through every chore
  • The first year with a fluffy new puppy
  • A ranch dog's retirement, or a first herding title on the farm

Which photos should I put in it?

  • Working sheep or cattle, or just herding the family
  • Frisbee catches caught mid-leap
  • The fluffy puppy with mismatched eyes
  • Riding along in the truck, on the way to anywhere
  • Hikes, lakes and snow days, fur flying

What can I write under the outline?

  • Blue · 2012–2026
  • Best working partner, best friend
  • Every chore was better with you
  • Herding clouds now
  • Big wiggle, bigger heart

What do I get?

A Canva template already cut to the Australian Shepherd outline, with every photo space placed, for $9.99. It opens in a free Canva account; you drop in your photos, type the two lines and print it anywhere. Nothing is shipped. It stays in your account, so a better ranch photo next spring can replace an old one.
